Which fit is which?

Fit describes how the leg is cut from the thigh down. The names below are the ones on our filters, so you can go straight to the shape you want.

• Skinny: narrow through the thigh and hugs the leg to the ankle. Women's Skinny Fit Jeans are the everyday default and the easiest pair to tuck into boots.
• Straight leg: the same width at the knee and the hem, so it hangs clean over sneakers or loafers. Women's Straight Leg Jeans are the classic that never really left.
• Slim: sits between skinny and straight, close to the leg without clinging. Women's Slim Fit Jeans read tailored with a blazer.
